Community Service
Missions and Welfare remembers Jesus' picture of the Kingdom of feeding, clothing and caring in Mathew 25. The Food and Clothing Bank and Shelter ministry is open every Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. to 2 p.m. The ministry of Hurricane disaster relief to victims in Alabama and Louisiana is noted in God's heart.The Good News Summer Day Camp serves the community by providing a nuturing environment for our children. The Health ministry serves the church and community through its frequent Health Fairs and through educational programs that seek to strengthen our physical, mental and emotional well being. Health displays the Biblical mandate to love God with all our life force and that our bodies are the temple of God.
Education Ministry
Christian education nurtures the spiritual, physical, emotional, and intellectual growth of God's people. This is accomplished through Christian programs that support Missions, Evangelism, Worship, Stewardship, Health, Education and the study of God's word. Christian education seeks to develop potential and build leaders within all age groups. The recent dedication of the Mt. Carmel Library, Computer Lab and Gift Shop better enables the church to meet the Christian education needs of the church family and the community at large.
